This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and innovative radiology team at one of the top medical institutions in the Southeast. Position Highlights: Modality Coverage: Diagnostic Radiology / Nuclear Medicine – Diagnostic Primary Focus: Chest Radiology Environment: Mixture of inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth responsibilities (telehealth volume may vary) Assigned Clinical Duties – Not Float or Unassigned Locum Tenens Role: No call or weekend responsibilities; strictly weekday shifts Facility Type: Academic Medical Center with cutting-edge imaging technology and subspecialty collaboration Support Staff: Experienced radiology techs and access to multidisciplinary teams Volume: Consistent daily volume; opportunity to assist with extra cases if desired Clinical Responsibilities: Interpretation of plain film chest radiography CT imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis Interpretation of dedicated cardiovascular CT for both acquired and congenital diseases MRI interpretation of thoracic and cardiovascular pathology Active participation in multidisciplinary collaboration and imaging quality assurance Candidate Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology Fellowship in Thoracic/Chest Imaging strongly preferred Active NC medical license or willingness to obtain Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience with academic radiology settings is a plus Additional Information: - Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology - Location: - Contact: About the Company: We pride ourselves on being a different kind of locums group.
