Ref #: C-LPN-9079361 Contract/Travel Licensed Practical Nurse — Milford, NH Start: ASAP | Duration: 6 weeks | Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Compensation: Travel: $1,832/40 hrs; Local: $1,472/40 hrs Overview: Seeking an experienced LPN for a 6-week contract in Milford, NH. The LPN will provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team, following facility protocols and physician/RN guidance. Required qualifications: Active, valid LPN license for the practicing state BLS certification Core responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, wound care, IV medication/fluid management, catheter care, and monitoring of vital signs Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical exams, histories, medication reviews) and contribute to individualized care plans Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments, document dosages, and follow established protocols Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds and surgical sites for signs of infection or complications Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing and document results as required Maintain thorough, timely patient records detailing condition changes, treatments, and interventions Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive health measures Assist with patient comfort and safety needs including positioning, mobility support, and pain management Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support per established procedures Follow strict infection control practices and appropriate use of PPE Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies in accordance with regulations Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other staff to coordinate care; may supervise CNAs/UAPs as delegated Advocate for patient rights and ensure appropriate care and resources Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with nursing standards and facility policies Other duties as assigned by management If you meet the requirements and are available for immediate start, please apply.
