Summary
This position is located at Tickets and Travels which is a part of Fort Benning Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR).

Duties
Work under supervision of the Leisure Activities Manager. Discusses and coordinates with Supervisor current and planned activities and events to include arrangements for special programs. Assure continuous, prompt and courteous customer service.
Provides guests with local information concerning available programs and activities, making individual reservations, answering questions concerning any aspect of operated facilities and providing prompt, courteous service in any area requested.
Prepares marketing materials for leisure activity programs. Receive payments, issues receipts as required, documents business transactions through computer posting entries and process retail sales through cash register.

Must be familiar with all programs offered by the activity, as well as with local area as the job requires providing a lot of information to guests. Always maintain a positive attitude around and towards guests.
May serve as a facilitator with the children's program providing sports and recreation activities, such as, arts and crafts, hiking, etc... Ensures that activities are conducted in a well-organized and safe manner.

Physical Requirement -Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty.
Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability determination.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
Must be able to communicate in English (both written and verbal).
Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry 40 pounds, walk, bend and stoop and stand on a routine basis.
Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.

Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
