Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Milan, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting/Finance, or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 2 years related experience. Required skills: Implement online and batch software applications in Mainframe environment utilizing COBOL, DB2, JCL, ESP, SQL, MQ and IMS technologies (2 yrs); Perform design, development and testing of high complex technical solutions based on the mainframe technologies following industry-standard software design methodology (2 yrs); Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders and product managers to understand requirements, technical issues, and priorities (2 yrs); Hand on experienced with in-place IBM Z modernization by developing the SOAP API based on IBM z/OS connect (2 yrs). 5% travel required.
