Our pediatricians are part of a team that includes in-house neonatologists along with our affiliated group of neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, MFMs and pediatric surgeons who provide comprehensive newborn services at multiple hospitals.Details:Provide 10-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery and on call from home in the eveningResponsibilities include admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery, delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions and consultations with familiesProvide Level-I to Level-II newborn care at Methodist Richardson Medical Center where there is an average daily census between 10-15 babies, Dallas Regional Medical Center – ADC 8 to 10, Texas Health Hospital Plano – ADC 12 to 17Neonatologist assistance/backup is provided as needed and in all high-risk situationsFlexibility with interest in learning and a desire to teach are highly valuedOpportunity to participate in education and quality improvement initiatives North Texas is one of the most famous and fastest-growing metropolitan destinations in America for its energetic lifestyle, scrumptious food, places to visit and variety of things to do.
