DallasResponsibilitiesWe have an exciting opportunity for BC/BE pediatricians to work as newborn
hospitalists at our busy, diverse, multispecialty neonatology practice in the North Dallas area.
Our pediatricians are part of a team that includes in-house neonatologists along with our affiliated
group of neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, MFMs and
pediatric surgeons who provide comprehensive newborn services at multiple hospitals.Details:Provide
10-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery and on call from home in the
eveningResponsibilities include admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery,
delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions and consultations with familiesProvide Level-I
to Level-II newborn care at Methodist Richardson Medical Center where there is an average daily
census between 10-15 babies, Dallas Regional Medical Center – ADC 8 to 10, Texas Health Hospital
Plano – ADC 12 to 17Neonatologist assistance/backup is provided as needed and in all high-risk
