We’re looking for creative, analytical and entrepreneurial college graduates to join RF|Binder’s prestigious Associate Program in either the Winter or of Summer 2023. All academic majors are encouraged to apply and a demonstrated interest in marketing, consulting, public relations or brand management is encouraged. Our Associate Program is a full-time job, and a launch pad to a successful career in public relations, communications, consulting and business leadership. As part of this program, Associates will have ample opportunity to learn, grow, and develop core skill sets. Our incoming team will dive into the ever-evolving world of communications while working across client teams as an integral part of our firm.

Associates who are accepted into the program will be exceptional individuals with strong emotional intelligence as well as proven experience in team management, strategic analysis and project execution from their time in academia, internships, campus life, jobs, student organizations, and entrepreneurial pursuits. Associates must drive impact for their teams and clients, and maintain a curiosity and eagerness to learn in order to grow on a personal and professional level as well as to positively impact their teams and the firm.

Your first year (and beyond!) as an Associate will include:
• In-depth onboarding where Associates learn the “RF|Binder way” and exposure to all senior leaders at the firm, including CEO, Amy Binder
• Learning & Development curriculum curated and taught by top leaders across the firm, focusing on core consulting, communications and marketing skill sets
• A Development Leader who will provide guidance and support in your career path as you articulate your professional goals and revisit them throughout the year, including a 6 month check-in and an annual performance review.
• Participation in our Mentorship Program, where we are learning from each other, both in traditional mentorship and reverse mentorship
• Training on leading data and analytics tools and technologies, and a focus on how to generate insights and impact from data
• Quarterly Hour to Empower, where outside speakers who are leaders in their fields share best practices and experiences
• Active client and new business development work

AFTER ONE YEAR, YOU’LL KNOW YOU WERE SUCCESSFUL IF:
• You know how to translate everyday news and events into stories that will help build your client’s brand and reputation.
• Your eye for detail ensures that every client deliverable exceeds their expectations.
• Not only have you created compelling content (press release, bio, social content, fact sheet), but you also know how to gather data behind your "wins" to better measure success for your clients.
• You understand your client’s goals and how to effectively develop an angle that will engage journalists and get the coverage needed.
• Your team depends on you to track key deadlines and deliverables, and you’re the go-to whenever someone’s wondering “Where are we on this?” ensuring the entire team is meeting (or beating) all deadlines.
• You’re enthusiastic about learning and development opportunities (at RF|Binder and beyond) that will help drive impact for your clients and the firm.
• You are getting tapped by your managers and colleagues to own more projects because you drive forward strategy with your involvement in every piece of client work.
