Northrop Grumman is seeking Test Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Baltimore, MD. This position will be in the Pathways rotational program where there will be three rotation opportunities within engineering.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Operations and Engineering group.
Are you interested in Test Engineering and have Digital, Power Supply and Radio Frequency (RF) experience? Engineers in this position will have fun working with various programs and radar products supporting the development, integration, and testing of production hardware used to protect our country and nation's war fighters. Activities will range from hands-on testing, to analysis of failure trends, and root cause/corrective action.
What You'll Get to Do:
The ideal candidate will have analytical skills to review requirements, test plans, and test scenarios; and the ability to effectively communicate and work with manufacturing, test engineering, and design engineering personnel. He/she should also be self-directed, organized, team oriented, and have experience with MS Office tools.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2. Basic qualifications for a Test Engineer 1 are a Bachelor's Degree. Basic qualifications for a Test Engineer 2 are a Master's Degree.

Salary: $65,000 - $118,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)for vacation and/orpersonal business.

- Troubleshoot automated test equipment
- Troubleshoot and support digital, Power supplies and RF hardware
- Support First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and hardware deliveries
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements
- Support technicians through troubleshooting and training
- Analyze test data and identifies early trends
- Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
- Collaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutions

- Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Electrical Engineering experience or Test/Manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
- Have a degree in Electrical Engineering
- Have an advanced degree (MS)
- Professional experience in a Test environment
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or automotive industries
- Technical experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
