Job Title: 2023 Summer Analyst, Miami Office

Program Description:

The Global Procurement Summer Analyst Program seeks to offer a challenging experience to individuals currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, who are interested in careers in Global Procurement. Our program is designed to focus on developing the technical, procurement and accounts payable skills set required to operate.

The Summer Analyst program offers a hands-on experience with Coupa software and general Procure-to-Pay processes, where Summer Analysts will have direct exposure to senior-level management, engaging mentors, development opportunities and targeted training to help sharpen technical, analytical and communication skills.

Analysts will support a specific business which will include the following: Procure-to-Pay

Job Description:

The Global Procurement - Procure-to-Pay group is responsible for the purchase order operations, vendor invoice processing, third-party relationship management for all Blackstone business units in multiple countries. They ensure that vendor invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner. The group also provides support to all vendors and Blackstone professionals, addressing a variety of procure-to-pay matters.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot Procure to Pay process issues, identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Work closely with India-based COE team to provide oversight ensure our payables processes are followed globally.
  • Help manage quarter end and annual close processes.
  • Resolves invoice discrepancies as escalated by their team members.
  • Review operational and management reports and identify/escalate potential issues - and opportunities for corrective actions.
  • Interacts directly with vendors when issues are escalated to resolve situations efficiently and effectively, as deemed necessary.
  • Ensures clear and updated communications with all stakeholders regarding corporate approval Policies and Procure to Pay Procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Coupa functionality to improve efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Active pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Strong academic record

  • Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to be a collaborative team player
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment while handling multiple projects
  • Possesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude, and genuine passion for excellence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Expected annual base salary range:

$60,000 - $70,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
