2023 Global Client Solutions - Private Markets Strategies Team Intern

Global Client Solutions (“KCS”) is KKR’s dedicated investor solutions team. KCS was formed in 2009 to invest in and focus on KKR’s relationships with current and potential investors. Today, KCS consists of ~270 executives located in 18 offices across four continents and in 10 countries. The KCS platform is primarily organized around two specialized focus areas: Relationship Management and Product Strategy. KCS seeks to “connect the dots” across all businesses at KKR, from our global private equity teams to KKR Credit and KKR Capital Markets, to deliver all of KKR’s intellectual capital and solutions to our investing partners. KCS’ long-term objective is to diversify KKR’s investor base to include new investors, across all regions and institution types, and to raise capital for the Firm’s expanding product platform through developing, structuring and maintaining collaborative partnerships with our investors.

The Global Product Strategy Team within KCS is looking to hire an intern(s) for the 2024 spring semester (January – May) based in New York to work in-person for ~25 hours/week (option to extend if performance is strong and there is a business need). The new addition(s) to the team will work exclusively with the firm’s private equity and infrastructure product strategies group on everything from capital raising, marketing and structuring funds, to providing ongoing LP support. Specific responsibilities will include updating marketing materials and quarterly presentations as well as handling client specific follow-up requests and projects.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional academic background, specifically in finance and accounting, a high degree of motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team member. The ideal candidate will have previous experience or has shown a strong interest in the financial sector and would be able to work part time while school is in session.

• Current sophomore or junior undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation in Winter 2025/Spring 2026 or Winter 2024/Spring 2025, respectively
• Academic major in Finance, Math, Economics or Statistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong quantitative and qualitative abilities
• Positive and professional attitude with a willingness to help out wherever necessary
• Ability to work well in teams as well as work independently
• Interest in alternatives asset management / private equity / finance
