The Opportunity

Are you a 1L and curious about what it's like to work in an in-house legal department? Come join us at Adobe to get experience working on in-house projects. We're seeking candidates with strong academic records who demonstrate outstanding performance and have already determined, at this early stage of their law school studies, that they are most likely to engage in corporate transactional work upon graduation.

What You'll Do

Projects the Experience Cloud Product Legal Intern will be involved in during the summer are based on the Product Legal team's needs at the time, but may include:

• Assist Product Legal with supporting the Marketo and Digital Marketing product teams as they develop and bring to market new technologies and product offerings by helping to identify and resolve privacy, IP, go-to-market, and license compliance issues
• Conduct legal research on a wide range of issues regarding existing and future products
• Collaborate with subject matter authorities in Adobe's Legal Department, including litigation, patent, antitrust, copyright, privacy security, and licensing attorneys
• Contribute to drafting of agreements, including inbound and outbound technology licenses, product documentation, and partnership agreements in support of the Marketo and Digital Marketing product ecosystem.

What You Need to Succeed

• Must be a 1st year law student in good standing pursuing the degree of Juris Doctor at an ABA accredited law school.
• Must have a strong academic record as well as experience that demonstrates phenomenal promise for a successful career in the legal profession.
• Must meaningfully contribute to the diversity of the law school student body and, upon entering the legal profession, the legal community.
