U.S. Corporate Derivatives Sales & Foreign Exchange Sales - The U.S. Corporate Derivatives Sales group provides interest rate and long-term currency hedging for clients of U.S. Corporate and Investment Banking, and MUFG Canada. Primary products are interest rate swaps, cross- currency interest rate swaps and related options. Most corporate clients are interested in managing interest rate risk in their liability portfolios, matching asset and liability risks, and/or hedging long-term currency risks. The U.S. Corporate Foreign Exchange Sales group works closely with multinational corporations with large foreign currency exposures. The group helps companies develop risk management programs to reduce the volatility of cash flows and earnings due to changes in exchange rates. The primary foreign exchange products which are used in these programs are spot, forwards, swaps, and options.

MUFG's Derivatives/FX Sales team is searching for a dedicated, hardworking full-time Analyst to start in June 2023.

Start Date: **Role to start in June 2023**

Location: New York City, NY

Responsibilities include the following activities:

• Learn the basics of covering corporate clients through close observation of senior salespeople and assisting them in their everyday dealings with clients
• Develop strong understanding of financial markets and become adequately equipped to distill market moves to internal and external stakeholders
• Perform daily tasks such as monitoring option expiries, maturing trades, maintaining our order blotter and other critical functions
• Become comfortable backing up salespeople beginning with responding to incoming inquiry and fielding calls
• Coordinate with sales, trading, and operations to ensure accurate accounting of sales credit for trades
• Become proficient in Bloomberg in order and assist in data pulls and analysis

Requirements:

• Strong interest in Banking/Financial Services
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or minoring in one of the following fields: Business, finance, economics, accounting, risk management, , or other quantitative and related fields
• Strong academic standing with coursework related to accounting, finance, or risk management preferred
• Graduating in Spring 2023 or earlier
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required
• Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
• Strong decision-making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment
• A pro-active, motivated approach
• The ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work accordingly
• A creative and innovative approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have analytical skill/experience with a focus on gathering, assessing, understanding, and presenting data in a meaningful manner; must be able to analyze trends/data and generate meaningful reports
• Ability to grasp concepts quickly and independently; interpret data, draw conclusions, and present findings effectively
• Detailed oriented, with a strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate and build & manage relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis and would not require visa sponsorship now, or in the future
