2023 Motion Graphic & Animation Fellowship Program

We are seeking recent college graduates to join our 2023 Motion Graphic/Animation Fellowship Program! In the medical field, fellowships refer to a period of post-graduate, on-the-job training.

Science and healthcare are core to our focus at Spectrum, so we’ve adopted an inner agency “teaching hospital” training model which starts with the Fellowship Program.

This is a full-time position. Your first 6 months will focus on learning about Spectrum, healthcare communications, our clients and their brands. This will be accomplished through on-the-job training and a custom-designed training module for our Fellows.

Our Fellowship Program offers opportunities for a Motion Graphic/Animation Designer in the Creative department.

Spectrum Fellows will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in specific training programs relevant to their job function

• Support innovative brands and clients in the healthcare space

• Work collaboratively as a member of an interwoven team to showcase their skills in a presentation to senior leadership

• Receive guidance and mentorship from some of the best and brightest in the business

• Have fun and get to know their colleagues via specific Fellowship Program events

Qualifications:

• Must be a 2023 collegiate graduate

• Preferred majors include: Animation, Motion Graphic Design, Digital Animation, 3D Animation, Computer Animation, Fine Arts with an emphasis in Animation, Film & Television Production with an emphasis on Animation.

• Required Programs: After Effects, Premiere Pro, (Adobe Creative Cloud Applications)

• Preferred Programs: Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya

• Able to start working full-time in July 2023

• Have a strong interest in healthcare and/or healthcare communications

• Prior internship experience preferred

• Hardworking, self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit

• Able to meet deadlines and appropriately manage time

• Able to think creatively

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

The anticipated hourly rate for this position will be $24.04/hour. This position is eligible for overtime pay. This is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.

You choose where you work. We are a hybrid work environment with options to work in one of our four offices (Washington, DC, New York, Chicago, and Atlanta), remotely anywhere in the United States, or a combination.
