2023 Schonfeld Early Engagement (SEE) Summit - Undergraduate Track

SEE your future at Schonfeld

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a diverse group of talented 1st and 2nd year students to join the SEE (Schonfeld Early Engagement) Summit. During this one-day workshop, you will discover how you can apply your academic skills to the real world of finance. The program is scheduled to take place on April 13th, 2023 in our New York City headquarters.

Attending SEE will allow you to learn more about our various business teams and opportunities for career growth in the investment world, including  groups within technology, product management, investor relations, risk, treasury, and many more. You will have the ability to grow your skills, network with senior leaders and recent graduates, and gain valuable insight on applying to our intern program, while being immersed in the dynamic culture and atmosphere of Schonfeld.

Our hope is that following SEE, you will have gained valuable knowledge about our business, built lasting relationships, and feel prepared to apply for our summer internship program - all while experiencing life at Schonfeld and our welcoming community.

Who you are

• A first or second year undergraduate student enrolled in a Bachelor's program
• Someone with a keen interest in finance, financial technology, business operations, and asset management

Our Internship

The Schonfeld summer internship provides students with a unique opportunity to experience Schonfeld, our work, our people, and our culture. Interns will typically join a small team and will spend 10 weeks at Schonfeld from June - August. Each summer intern will work on a tailored project that will provide them with real world experience.  We provide all interns with a dedicated mentor and manager to help them navigate the summer successfully.  Interns will also participate in our learning program, the Sapphire: Summer Session, which aims to provide tangible skills training and education on various functions across the firm and in the workplace. Along with the hands-on guidance and support from managers and mentors, interns will participate in weekly networking events, engage with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Alliance, attend panel discussions, and have many opportunities to get to know Schonfeld’s core values in practice.

Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is a multi-manager platform that invests its capital with Internal and Partner portfolio managers, primarily on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis, across four trading strategies: quantitative, fundamental equity, tactical trading and discretionary macro & fixed income.
