2023 Strategy Summer Internship

Dive into the Strategy world as a summer of 2023 intern! The work our team does directly impacts DIRECTV business development and partnership projects.
As a rising senior or junior, you will get the chance to fine tune your skills in the areas of general project management, partnership opportunity analysis and evaluation, executive presentation, and contract maintenance. Other key roles and responsibilities may include market and competitive research, summarize earnings reports, competitive perspectives, industry trends, etc., strategic analysis and summarize into story driven perspectives, exposure to long term strategic planning support. Wherever you may land, you will get the chance to put your education and skills to the test and see real world effects!
In this role, you may work on:

• Evaluate and present recommendations for potential business partnerships
• Review existing partnership contracts and develop a list of custom requirements
• Develop a new tracking and reporting process for all Business Development projects
• Perform Earnings summaries for quarterly earnings calls
• Develop perspective on FAST, AVOD, or SVOD opportunities
• Company perspectives focused on DIRECTV impact
• Industry reports and perspectives
• Cost savings exercises
• Ad hoc strategic initiatives

Skills and Experience:

• Understanding of key corporate financial measures of success
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills with strong data story telling skills
• Strategic thinker and problem solver with a strong attention to detail
• Base level Excel modeling and business case development
• Research and data analysis
• Self-starter and not afraid to ask the important questions
• Organized and can effectively prioritize across teams

Various start dates are available with a program end date of August 11th, 2023.
