The Opportunity

Berkadia’s Internship Program is designed to increase your education, impact, and involvement in Commercial Real Estate and Finance. Our program combines real-world work experience with continuing education and mentorship. The Technical Support Engineer will assist the IT Asset Management team perform computer upgrades and propose process improvements.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following.

• Configure and ship computers and equipment
• Maintain inventory of computers and peripherals
• Perform equipment check-in and check-out tasks to ensure all Berkadia equipment is accounted for
• Assist in the documentation of technology related assets
• Propose solutions and improvements to our onboarding, offboarding and asset management processes
• Assist with the maintenance of software packages for user-based computers throughout the enterprise
• Apply baseline computer configurations (Imaging) to new and redeployed laptops and desktops
• Coordinate the reclaiming and redeploying of corporate IT Assets in accordance with the corporate IT Asset Management policy. Works with IT Asset Management Vendor to recycle and dispose of non-mission critical desktop equipment.
• Maintain workstation compliance to Berkadia security standards
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful 

• Must be enrolled in a Computer Science (or related) degree program
• Must have completed at least one year of course work
• Be available to work onsite in Ambler, PA
• Effective Communication skills
