2023 Transformation Summer Internship

Dive into the communication and event management world as a summer of 2023 intern! The work our team does directly impacts DIRECTV employees and processes. Provide meaningful value for areas like social, sponsorships, community engagement.
You'll get the chance to work on projects that are designed to drive the transformation and future of DIRECTV. Wherever you may land, you will get the chance to put your education and skills to the test and see real world effects!
In this role, you may work on:

• Support planning of our summer conference for the extended leadership team (Sr. Director+)
• Create content roadmaps for when we need to send RSVP, Travel docs, teaser videos, on-site content, etc.
• Building reports to track leadership engagement before and during this event
• Support in media production for this event
• Support our communication team for internal employee events (DIRECTV Day, Culture Campaign) - partnership with our team of graphic designers to create content to accompany the communications

Majors/Concentrations we're looking for:

• Communications
• Journalism
• Business or related majors

Skills and Experience:

• Previously managed an event (on campus or in previous internship/job
• Experience with social media (business or creator account)
• Design (photoshop, canva, smartsheet/calendar apps)
• Workplace

Various start dates are available with a program end date of August 11th, 2023.
Position requires full US work authorization without any restrictions
