Job Description
Accolade is looking to hire an undergraduate student to join the Firm as an Investment Analyst in the summer or Fall of 2024 post-graduation. Candidates must have relevant internship experience in the following: investment management, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, or financial services. The investment analyst will be a member of the investment team, who evaluates both fund and direct investments. Analysts will provide critical support throughout the investment process, with responsibilities that include quantitative due diligence of new investments, monitoring and tracking Accolade's existing portfolio, producing marketing materials, as well as assisting with firm operations.
Accolade is a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment. Analysts are expected to maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in their deliverables. Promising candidates will possess strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, superior analytical capabilities, a thorough understanding of financial statements, and a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Expectation to work from office 4 to 5 days a week.
Qualifications
• Strong academic track record
• Demonstrated interest in a broad variety of venture investment sectors such as software, fintech, consumer, healthcare, frontier technologies, blockchain etc.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to take on wide-ranging responsibilities
• Attention to detail
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills
• "Roll-up the sleeves", can-do, team-oriented personality
The position is a minimum two-year commitment. Exceptional performers may be considered for a third year and/or an associate promotion.
