JOB OVERVIEW

Under general supervision, the Americas Sales Initiatives Intern is responsible for supporting the Sales Initiatives Team through value-added project work, special projects, data input and analysis, and reporting updates. No relocation assistance provided for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support product launch readiness and the budget planning process
  • Assist the Sales Initiatives Team with validations, proofing, and system updates
  • Assist the Sales Initiative Team in completing weekly tasks, in addition to ad hoc requests or projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written form with employees, customers and management
  • Familiarity with MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus but not required
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed to support the seasonality of the process

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Currently matriculated student with at least 1 full years coursework completed; coursework in accounting, finance, economics or business administration helpful
  • Majoring in Business preferred
  • Previous related internship or prior experience preferred, but not required
