About the Human Resources Internship 

If you are interested in pursuing a career in Human Resource, this 10-week summer internship will provide you a valuable experience at a complex global firm. During your time with us, you will gain exposure to: 

• Support and delivery of a variety of HR tasks and projects 
• Responses to employment verification requests 
• Monitoring of reporting within our internal systems 
• Managing business card ordering for new employees 
• Contributing to or manage ad hoc projects through administrative support 

Summer Internship Program at Point72 

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will: 

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals 
• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events 
• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths 
• Get hands-on access to best-in-class tools and resources 
• Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry 
• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills 
• Participate in networking opportunities across the firm, with groups such as Trading, Finance, Trade Support, Compliance, and Technology 

What’s required 

• Expected Bachelor’s degree (Fall 2024 or Spring 2025) 
• Interest in Human Resources 
• Administrative experience 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Capacity to multitask, effectively prioritize, and adapt to an ever-changing work environment 
• Strong written and verbal communication 
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times 
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary is $66,500 (USD) which will be prorated based on internship start and end date; this does not include overtime compensation. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
