A Career with Point72’s Operational Risk Team 

The Operational Risk Group at Point72 is responsible for identification, monitoring, and reporting of operational risk across the Firm. We also manage business continuity, third-party risks, and commercial lines of insurance (excl. employee benefits). 

About the Operational Risk Internship 

If you are interested in pursuing a career in a firm’s risk management program, the 10-week Operational Risk internship at Point72 provides individuals an opportunity to gain exposure and knowledge to: 

• Work closely with a small and collaborative team to gain a foundational understanding of Operational Risk within a global company 
• Coordinate, develop meeting materials, and execute deliverables for Operational Resilience, Business Resilience, and Insurance initiatives while working in conjunction with business units 
• Operational Resilience
  • Collaborate with business representatives to document ownership, controls, and Key Risk Indicators for critical risks
  • Document operational risk events and participate in root cause analysis and remediation with business stakeholders
• Business Resilience
  • Support Firm-wide crisis management including coordination with business units
  • Interface with key stakeholders around training and routine testing
  • Review playbooks to ensure they are accurate and current
• Insurance
  • Assist with evaluation and administration of pre and post insurance renewal documentation
  • Support management of insurance claim logging, reporting, and closure
  • Process ad-hoc insurance related inquiries and execute on deliverables
