Summary

The Intern - Project Management will be responsible for assisting in the gathering of data and project information for the IT Portfolio Operations team.

Responsibilities

Support Project Manager and project activities:

• Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and maintain documentation with internal stakeholders, the Software Purchasing Committee, and vendors
• Monitor project timelines
• May manage small projects with oversight from Portfolio Operations leadership

Portfolio Support:

• Manage incoming requests
• Gather and document project information
• Assist business partners to investigate/discover upcoming and/or existing project opportunities

May assist in maintaining Jira project(s) as needed

• Problem solving, including solving technical challenges, critical thinking skills
• Strong documentation and writing skills
• Excellent time management and listening skills
• Strong verbal communication skills - ability to speak to technical and end user audiences
• Ability to find creative solutions to meet or exceed business needs

Experience

• Experience with Google Docs and Spreadsheets, Microsoft Office
• Experience with Jira and Confluence a plus
• Advanced formula experience (MS Office, spreadsheets)

Education

• Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Management, Business, Management Information Systems, or related field

Travel Requirements

• Minimal travel

• Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
