206 - Business Intelligence Administrators and Developers

Next Phase Solutions and Services is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to our clients. Our internal Business Intelligence team plays a crucial role in driving our growth, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions across the organization.

We are seeking experienced Business Intelligence Administrators and Developers to join our Business Intelligence team.

• The Business Intelligence Administrators will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Business Objects environment, including installations, upgrades, security management, and troubleshooting.
• The Business Intelligence Developers will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Business Objects reports, dashboards, and other BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Business Intelligence environment, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Design and develop Business Intelligence reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs
• Manage user access and security, including user and group management
• Create and maintain documentation of report development standards and best practices
• Participate in the design and implementation of data models and data warehousing solutions
• Work with the Business Intelligence Manager to ensure system performance and scalability
• Provide support and training to users across the organization
• Communicate system updates and changes to stakeholders across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Three (3+) years of experience with Business Intelligence administration and/or report development
• Experience with mainstream Business Intelligence tools
• Experience with Business Intelligence installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence architecture and best practices
• Experience with SQL and data modeling
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

THIS POSITION REQUIRES RESIDENCY IN MARYLAND OR NORTHERN VIRGINIA and is PARTIAL REMOTE 2 DAYS A WEEK. THIS POSITION IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REMOTE SCHEDULE.
