Summary
This position is located in the Office of Administration, of the U.S. Access Board.
The U.S. Access Board (AB) is an independent Federal agency devoted to advancing accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities. Access Board operates with approximately thirty staff and a governing board of representatives from Federal departments and public members appointed by the President.

Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Serve as a senior advisor and subject matter expert to the Administrative Director, the Financial Program Manager, other agency senior leadership, and staff on a variety of matters relating to resource management programs to meet mission and operational requirements.
Lead and execute projects and studies on key issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations of the agency. Prepares project papers, staff reports, and briefings for deliberation and decision-making purposes by senior leadership and encourages understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. Conducts briefings on special projects and sensitive programmatic issues to leadership.
Serve as a focal point on Access Board's daily operational programs and processes. Including but not limited to, Records Management, Property Management, Security and Emergency Management, and other Administrative Services support.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Key Requirements:
Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
A one-year probationary or trial period may be required. Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period
Must successfully complete a background investigation.
Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Advise senior leadership on resource management and administrative programs, reviewing policies and recommending improvements to support agency operations; AND
Lead projects and studies, preparing reports and briefings to support decision-making and improve program effectiveness; AND
Advise leadership on financial management and administrative functions, including policy updates, audits, and program oversight to ensure compliance and efficiency.
