500K - Seeking Urologist for Busy Private Practice in Fredericksburg Virginia
Job Description
We are the only urology practice in the area and provide urologic care for two local hospitals. The majority of our practice is through our office in Fredericksburg and inpatient surgeries at Mary Washington Hospital Center (Trauma level II hospital). We also cover Stafford Hospital and perform surgeries there as well. There are two ambulatory surgery centers available for outpatient procedures. We have access to 3 da Vinci Xi Robots with 2 more coming soon, dedicated cystoscopy room, and there is block time available for new recruits.

Fredericksburg, Virginia is a unique place to live and start/move your practice. We have the fastest population growth rate in the state of Virginia and by 2030 is expected to be one of the fastest growing areas in the country. Being the only group in town, you’ll quickly build your practice up.
Practically every job opportunity talks about how close you are to airports as if you’re going to want to leave your home as quick as possible. That won’t be the case here. (But we do have access to four major airports, if you’re wondering.) One-hour drive to Washington, DC, Richmond, VA and Charlottesville, VA. We have a vibrant historic downtown area with new restaurants popping up every month. Niche breweries and some of the best wineries in the US are within driving distance.
Fredericksburg has tons of opportunities for outdoor activities. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah National Park are a stone’s throw away and full of some of the best hikes on the East Coast. If you want to bike to work you can! (Two of urologists currently do.) There’s also multiple off-road paths and miles of mountain biking paths to explore. If you enjoy watersports and fishing, the city is right on the Rappahannock River. With kayaking, fishing the shad run, standup paddleboard yoga, etc, you’ll never get bored. We also are close to the Potomac and the Chesapeake Bay if you’re a striped bass fisherman or if you just like to enjoy a crab boil out on the dock.
