Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT
Health East Texas facilities.The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a
Faculty Geriatric Psychiatrist to provide care for elderly patients, including those with dementia,
depression, and other age-related conditions in our psychiatry department in Tyler, TX.Your Work:
Provide psychiatric care for elderly patients in inpatient (10-bed) and residential (30-bed)
settings Manage medications and develop holistic care plans with a multidisciplinary team
Supervise and mentor psychiatry residents Lead case conferences and contribute to complex
geriatric cases Participate in a shared on-call rotation Option for fully inpatient or a 50/50
