**Post Acute Care Medical Director Opening in North Carolina** Located in Greenville, NC - Raleigh 86m * Full-time * Monday - Friday * Day-time, Flexible Hours * No primary night call * $175,400 - $302,00 Estimated annual amount which includes a monthly medical director stipend, productivity pay for a minimum of 20 encounters per day (paid bi-weekly). * Signing bonus available with a 2 year commitment. * Medical, dental, vision benefits package with 401k retirement and extender options * Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage **Responsibilities** * Provide oversight and mentorship to our clinicians in the greater Greenville, North Carolina, area * Conduct clinical case reviews, share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care * Provide clear communication with clinicians, facility leaders and staff regarding care and services for enrollees * Collaborate with leadership to review care coordination initiatives * Develop intervention plans, and share ideas about network management issue * Work alongside pharmacists on medication management * Complete Medicare required visits * Complete acute, follow up, and discharge visits as necessary * Implement an individualized plan of care for patients' goals * Make recommendations on transitional care, DME, home health services, or outpatient services after short stay * Facilitate and assist leadership in quality improvement initiatives and risk management * Timely response in chart completions and pharmacy recommendations **Requirements** * Reside within a reasonable daily commute to Greenville and New Bern, NC * Clinical Leadership Experience * Relevant clinical experience treating patients within the last 12 months * Active/Unrestricted NC Medical License, DEA, Medicare, and Medicaid provider numbers Not far from North Carolina's coast, Greenville is a small city along the Tar River, widely recognized as the thriving cultural, educational, economic and medical hub of Eastern North Carolina.
