for a Rehab PM&R physician to join the inpatient rehab units for Johnston-Willis Hospital.
Johnston-Willis’ therapist-to-patient ratio is lower than the national average, providing patients
with individualized care and encouragement. They offer highly qualified specialists ranging from
doctors, nurses, social workers/case managers to coordinate and assure patients receive the
necessary treatments and therapies.Qualified Candidates:
Must be board eligible or board certified
in their specialtyBoard eligible candidates still in training must be scheduled for their boardsMust
be energetic and motivatedVirginia licensure or ability to obtainMust have excellent interpersonal
skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and
administration
About the Rehab Unit:The unit treats patients (age 18 or older) with a range of
conditions, including:
StrokePost-operative cardiac conditionsCancerOrthopedic
injuriesAmputationsBrain injuryNeurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and
Parkinson’s
