Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties
You will plan, organize and perform work required to ensure proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Housing Program.
You will receive and process complaints and related investigations concerning residents to leadership.
You will process requests for permanent and temporary quarters and review requests for accuracy and completeness of data.
You will conduct joint tenant-management walk-throughs of quarters to evaluate the cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability of the unit, furnishings, equipment, and facilities.
You will conduct evaluations, assessments, walk-through inspections and report requirements to higher-level management for contract performance ratings and compliance.

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
This position may require travel, not to exceed 10%, from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing customer service in a family housing program; receiving and mediating issues between residents and businesses; AND conducting inspections of residential facilities and playgrounds.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of the specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify for the position based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
I have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education OR
I have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement OR
I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent
