Job Description
Job Objective:
Oversees invoice AFE, Purchase Orders and all others or Accounts Payables.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Legal subpoenas/ investigations for AP vendors, confidential HR investigations and Vendor Audits with urgency.
- Assist with clearing invoice Blocks & Rejections for Alaska to ensure timely payments. Review wire payments for approval & timely close.
- Review and manage engineers AP desks at all levels for approvals ensuring timely payments and prevent interruption of services. Be assessable for questions/inquires as needed for all assets teams & VP's.
- Become proficient in SAP to assist engineers with various issues, create reports as needed and learn WBS modules to be able answer questions as soon as possible.
- Review wires and ensure posting for monthly close. Run close reports for AP monthly close.
- Handle vendor reconciliations/disputes. Mediate vendor disputes as well as develop relationships with critical vendors.
- Assist with processing AFE, Purchase orders invoices and JE's as needed. Handle down payments PO and report to Alaska.
- Prepares project oriented - tasks to support all asset teams & other departments.
- Test new processes such as 2022 SAP and FS2AP.

- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Other duties/projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years minimum oil & gas accounting experience.
- Five (5) years accounts payable experience preferred.
- Ability to solve problems accurately and exhibit exceptional proficiency in data management, including spreadsheet proficiency.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex operational information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
- Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Preferred: SAP but not required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
