NMCA, supported by the well-established New Mexico Cardiac Care (NMCC), and affiliated with Memorial Medical Center, forms the largest single practice group in Southwest New Mexico. Together, we are poised to launch a combined shock program with future plans for ECMO.Position Highlights: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, including valve and/or coronary procedures. Skills: Expertise in operative, preoperative, and critical care diagnosis and treatment for coronary artery bypass grafting, cardiac valve repair and replacement, ECMO, and aortic procedures, including complex aneurysms and dissections. Preferred: TAVR training or a keen interest in minimally invasive structural heart disease procedures. ABMS/AOA Board Certification is also preferred. Support: Dedicated Cardiac ICU with intensivist coverage. Practice Area: Serve a population of 300,000-400,000 people with flexible schedules and exceptional work/life balance.
