24-375.B1 - Training and Development Administrator
Job Description
Coordinates training programs, events, communications, and analyzes training data. Supports the training team to ensure effective administration and the quality of the training experience.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manage budgets:Â Develop and administer training department budgets, and recommend equipment and staff and department purchases.
- Maintain records: Trainee lists, schedules, and attendance sheets.
- Manage large events and logistics (hotel, restaurants and conference areas).
- Manage travel arrangements for facilitators and assist with participant logistics.
- Prepare classrooms and training rooms. Manage training calendar, 360 process and experience for leaders in the company.
- Create and review training materials, such as instructional notes and feedback formsÂ
- Prepare reports on training activities and results.Â
- Help vendors and participants interact with each other and troubleshoot issues that arise.
- Ensure that all training activities comply with established policies and best practices.
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years minimum training and development or administration experience.
- Demonstrated success in project management including programs and systems with administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds for various classroom needs.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
- Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Preferred: Learning Management System, E-learning course creation software such as iSpring, Camtasia Studio, MS Access
Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in human resources, business administration, industrial psychology, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
