Summary About the position: This position is located at the Moron AB, Spain. The function of the organization is to provide lodging to personnel and their families. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of simple cleaning tasks associated with lodging operations. Must be physically able to frequently lift and empty wastebaskets; frequently pushing carts, weighing more than 100 pounds, loaded with dirty laundry or wastepaper; and occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Incumbent must be a US Citizen assigned to Moron AB, or a spouse/family member of someone assigned to Moron AB. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience:No previous experience or training is required. Must be able to follow simple oral and written instructions and be able to use hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools or equipment. Must be physically able to frequently lift and empty wastebaskets; frequently pushing carts, weighing more than 100 pounds, loaded with dirty laundry or wastepaper; and occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to continuously stand, stoop, and reach for long periods of time. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
