DUTIES: Architect the scalable data pipelines required to efficiently process large quantities of data for a team responsible for developing software components for the FreeWheel business unit's advertising platform products; develop software used to implement and maintain the reporting system using AWS, Scala, SQL, Python, Spark, and Athena in a Unix/Linux environment; collaborate with other engineers to test software; perform code reviews and resolve errors; participate in the release process to promote code from staging through production; ensure continued compatibility for AudienceXpress as cooperating systems are upgraded and for ensuring that issues raised by users are satisfactorily addressed; guide architecture designs and facilitate reporting on AudienceXpress, a FreeWheel ad placement product.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and two (2) years of experience using AWS, Scala, SQL, and Python to develop software in a Unix/Linux environment.
SALARY: $85,197 to $180,000 per year

Salary:
Base Pay: $85,197.00
