Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. You must possess a current valid United States driver's license. You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination. This is a bargaining unit position. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment. Qualifications GS-10: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to independently plan, schedule and document sustainment, repair or maintenance work, to include experience in developing scopes of work and cost estimates. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to demonstrate sustainment, repair or maintenance of trade work; demonstrate experience in customer service associated with the induction of maintenance work. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education NOTE: Graduate education or an internship meets the specialized experience required above GS-5 only in those instances where it is directly related to the work of the position. One full year of graduate education meets the requirements for GS-7. Two full years of graduate education or a master's degree meets the requirements for GS-9. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. Part-time graduate education is creditable in accordance with its relationship to a year of full-time study at the school attended. Additional information This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
