This position will operate the heart-lung machine as a member of the open heart surgery team. They will operate the extracorporeal circulation and autotransfusion equipment during any medical situation where it is necessary to support or temporarily replace the patient’s circulatory or respiratory function.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Perfusion education program required.

Certified in Clinical Perfusion by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within two years in position required.

BLS required, ACLS preferred.
