NES Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice at Holyoke Medical Center located in Holyoke, Massachusetts.    About the Hospital  250 Bed Community Hospital  T-System and Meditech RX EMR    Coverage includes:?  Radiology??  Interventional Radiology??  Psychiatry?  Anesthesiology?  Intensivists?(6 ICU beds)  Pulmonology??  Ultrasound?  Hospitalists?  General Surgery??  Gastro?  Cardio?  Neurology?  Cancer Center    About the Program and Hours  44 Bed Emergency Department  44,000 annual ED visits  14% admission rate from the ED  ED has a fast track  ED has a provider in triage   ED receives an average of 45 EMS units per day  ED was remodeled in 2018  Xray and CT located in the ED  ED bedside ultrasound  4, 10-hour Physician shifts per day  4, 10-hour APP shifts per day    Qualifications  Active Massachusetts license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license  Candidate Must be PA or FNP BE/BC   Active ACLS, ATLS and PALS     About the Community   Holyoke is in the heart of the Pioneer Valley and nestled near the crossroads of New England (Massachusetts Turnpike and I-91), Holyoke is just a pleasant drive away from Boston (90 minutes), New York City (3 hours) and Montreal (5 hours).
