Summary This position is located at a Central Distribution Center (CDC). The purpose of this position is to operate vehicles and materials handling equipment in the performance of duties in a CDC. Physical requirements: . (1) Lift, push, pull, carry, and handle items weighing up to 50. (2) Frequently pushes or pulls, with the assistance of others, loaded stock carts weighing up to 2000 pounds. Incumbent is exposed to hot or cold weather and damp and drafty conditions while working in the storage area and loading docks. Required working outdoors when loading vehicle and is exposed to occasional unpleasant, dirty, and inclement weather conditions. Subject to injury and possible loss of life in case of a vehicle accident. Frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises, falls from ladders and storage racks, or injury from material handling equipment and stock carts.
