Hospital based group seeks full-time seasoned providers to join it Pediatric Emergency Medicine group. Candidates should be BC Pediatricians with Peds EM experience fellowship Major regional medical center that includes a 44-bed Level III NICU, a 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and 17 bed Pediatric Emergency Department staffed by full time pediatric emergency medicine specialists. The Pediatric Emergency Department (PED) is one of the busiest in the state. Currently, the PED has approximately 38,000 visits per year and has recently moved into their new 17 private room beds department to support  sustained growth. The PED serves as the pediatric base for the county EMS system and provides trauma services to the area. The area has over 300,000 residents, 1 ½ hours from the ocean and 3 hours to the mountains. It’s a great family area with affordable housing and great schools. Some of the best golf courses in the country are in the area. This is also a culturally diverse area.
