LPN/LVN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – Long Term Care, Rochester NH (9‑Week Contract PM Shift)

Ref #: C-LPN-9062726 We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Rochester, NH to join a local contract team for a 9-week assignment starting ASAP. This role is non-travel and follows a Sun/Mon/Sat schedule from 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Compensation is $1,548 per 40-hour week. What we need from you Active, valid LPN license for the state of New Hampshire Current BLS certification What you’ll be doing You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. Typical duties include administering medications and IV fluids, performing wound care and dressing changes, monitoring and documenting vital signs, and completing thorough patient assessments to support individualized care plans. You’ll collect samples for lab testing, care for patients with catheters, assist with mobility and comfort measures, and educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care. You’ll also be expected to: Accurately document changes in condition, treatments, and medication administration Follow infection control practices and proper PPE use Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support when needed Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team—RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff—to ensure coordinated care Promote preventive health measures like vaccinations and screenings Advocate for patient needs and rights Supervise CNAs or other unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned Participate in ongoing education to stay current with best practices Perform other duties as assigned by management If you’re a dependable LPN who enjoys working with a collaborative team and providing compassionate, detail-oriented care, this assignment in Rochester could be a great fit.
