Summary This is a public notice flyer to solicit interested candidates for two vacant Deputy Director positions within NAVSEA Total Force & Corporate Operations. These positions report directly to the Deputy Commander for Total Force & Corporate Operations, one position serves as Deputy Director, Total Force Management and one as Deputy Director, Corporate Operations. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (NH-03) or grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing complex corporate operations, programs, and initiatives to ensure quality and mission execution. Qualifying experience may include serving as a technical expert level advisor and providing instructions to subordinate leaders to include objectives, suspense dates, reporting procedures, and general guidance concerning controversial aspects of work; evaluating performance of subordinate leaders, first line supervisors, and staff members; making decisions relating to training and development needs; influencing, motivating, or persuading persons or groups to support command program goals and objectives.
