TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time emergency medicine advanced practice clinician (APC) within the Hendrick Medical Center system, based in Abilene, TX. The Hendrick Healthcare System is a not-for-profit hospital that was founded in 1924, and has been providing exceptional healthcare within the community. Hendrick Medical Center North is a level III trauma center with 33 ED beds and an annual volume of 49,400. We have 40hrs of nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) coverage daily. Hendrick Medical Center South is a level IV trauma center with 22 ED beds and an annual volume of 24,250, with 20hrs of APC coverage daily.
