Duties
Performs and/or assists Bowling Center Manager in the operation of the recreation activity during assigned shift at nights, weekends, and for other regular work schedule absences. Responsibility includes snack bar, pro shop, lane assignments and equipment rentals. Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Typical assignments may include reviewing schedule of events taking place during assigned shift, providing instruction to Bowling Center staff on duty, and working with sales, food service, etc., to ensure support for events. s to plan and coordinates details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing various activities to attract and motivates participants.Assists Manager with training of assigned personnel, ensure adequate staffing during shift, and completes reports of activities and sales. Responsible for receipt, safekeeping, deposit and disbursement and accountability of funds. May oversee sale of retail items associated with activites. Ensures adherence to safety and regulations.Performs other related duties assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum one year general work experience in any field. (experience in recreational activity preferred). Skill to demonstrate activities and use of related facility equipment. Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
