UT Health East Texas is actively hiring an epileptologist to join the Clinical Faculty at our Neurological Institute location in beautiful Tyler, TX. This is a great opportunity to practice academic epileptology in a patient-focused and comprehensive epilepsy care program, including seizure management, EEG monitoring, refractory, and full-breadth epilepsy specialist cases. Competitive salary and a comprehensive State of Texas benefits package included.     About this Neurology-Epilepsy Job Opening: Outpatient Focus: Full-time, 1.0 FTE position with no hospital call. Specialty Group: Join a team of 8 neurologists and 3 APCs who take first call. Faculty Title: Academic Appointment rank to be determined Daily Patient Load: 12-18 new and follow-up epilepsy patients. On-site Testing: Dedicated EEG, EMG, and NCS procedure rooms. EMU available. Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend coverage. Clinic Call: telephone only (no hospital call requirement) EMR: Epic   Minimum Qualifications: Certification: ABPN board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology-Epilepsy. Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience preferred, but graduating Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology Fellows are encouraged to apply.
