Summary
This position is located at ID-Readiness Support Office, Fort Bragg, NC.
Incentives
Relocation incentive in the amount of $20,000 may be authorized, with a two (2) year service agreement.
Army NAF Pay setting rules apply to this vacancy.
Duties
Serves as the Program Administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for the installation Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) Program.
Directly supervises and provides guidance and training to the BOSS President and Vice President on all assigned duties. Also responsible for providing guidance and training to over 500 BOSS representatives on the installation.
Oversees, plans, coordinates, and administers activities based on the pillars of the BOSS program, i.e. community service and recreation and leisure. Prepares and submits an annual NAF Budget.
Coordinates, administers, and conducts monthly BOSS meetings. Serves as the SME for Soldiers issues submitted through the Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) Program.
Collects applicable fees for events, accounts for monies and petty cash funds, prepares a Daily Activity Report, monitors and prepares Rec-Trac data and makes daily deposits.

A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 3 background investigation.
Ability to work an irregular work schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position is designated as a Key Essential position for the purpose of deploying during contingency operations to support Soldiers.
A valid driver's license may be required.
Working Conditions: Work is normally sedentary and performed in an office environment. However, from time to time outside work is required to support special events. This outside work may involve heat, cold, dust, mud, wind, etc.
The mental and physical requirements include oral, visual, and audio ability at a level to ensure that the duties of this position will be performed at both a safe and satisfactory level.
The job requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking (sometimes on uneven surfaces), climbing, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling, and regular lifting and carrying of llight to moderate weights up to 60 pounds.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Applicants must have experience performing work similar to the duties listed above.
Must be able to manage multiple projects and determine priorities of work under the guidance of SOPs, APF and NAF BOSS regulations, and immediate supervisor.
Ability to learn military correspondence procedures and dealing with the public.
Must also possess excellent verbal and written skills in English.
Must have a working knowledge of basic software, i.e. Knowledge of budget formulation and administration is also required.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) Advisor.

Incentives

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
In accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations, most individuals will be authorized movement of Household Goods, Temporary Storage, and Air, POV, or Rail Transportation to your new duty station. In addition, some individuals may also be authorized Temporary Quarters Subsistence Expenses (TQSE).
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
