Salt Lake City Gastroenterologist Opportunity

We are seeking a Hepatologist in Salt Lake City, Utah. This thriving practice is associated with the University of Utah and offers an academic appointment, including opportunities for clinical trials, research and graduate medical teaching. Be part of an established and growing Transplant Heptaology program. You will join 3 experienced abdominal transplant surgeons, 5 transplant coordinators, 2 physician assistants, and 3 transplant parmacists in addition to their transplant hepatologists.Program has performed over 400 liver transplants - with over 40 in this last year..  The position is full-time Hepatology and liver transplant, with limited outpatient endoscopy..  Main responsibilities will include outpatient and inpatient clinical care, including inpatient service on rotating basis with the other hepatologists..  Academic responsibilities may include working directly with the Gastroenterology fellows and medical house staff, participating in weekly educational conferences, and engagement in clinical or basic science research.  The University offers a competitive salary and an unmatched benefits program, including non-contributory retirement contributions of 20.2% of annual salary that vest immediately.
