Job description
Summary
This position is located at McCoy's. McCoy's includes Dining, Sports Bar, Bowling, Recreation and Leisure Activities and Conference and Catering Spaces. McCoy's Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Ft McCoy Community.
This is an open continuous announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed. List will be issued at management's request throughout the announcement timeframe.

Duties
Prepares a limited variety of short order, fast food items to include hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, etc. in a Snack Bar setting. Removes perishable foods from the freezer for daily activities.
Assures tables, and all work areas to include equipment and storage areas are promptly cleared and cleaned.
Takes delivery of supplies and ensures proper storage of shipments.
Accepts food orders from patrons and receives payments and completes cash report at the end of assigned shift.
Assists in coordinating food and beverage needs for special events, not limited to preparing and serving food and cleaning up work areas. Follows all safety, security, and good housekeeping rules.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include a physical.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Uniforms and name tags are provided and required.
Must complete food sanitation and safety training within the first thirty (30) days of employment and on an annual basis thereafter.
Operation is 7 days a week, schedule will be based on the needs of the activity. Subject to an irregular tour of duty including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays are required.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Ability to work without more than normal supervision.
Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order.
Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques.
Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
Knowledge of basic sanitation principles.
Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently walk, bend, stoop, pull, push and reach.
Education

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.

This is a mixed job, designed specifically for smaller NAF activities that required flexibility in employee work assignments. May be assigned to other activities based on mission requirements.
These are Flexible on call positions and employees may work up to 40 hours per week but is based on peak seasons and mission requirements. Flexible positions are not entitled to benefits at this time.
Pay may be set between the bottom and top of the advertised rate. Credit may be given for NAF time in grade but most new appointees pay will be set at the bottom of the pay rate for each level.
