Cardiothoracic Surgery opening in SD Located in Rapid City, South Dakota Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join practice. - This position will be a mix of Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular care. - The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent work ethic and clinical skills and passion for outstanding quality. - Mentorship available for a junior surgeon that meets the qualifications. - This provider will be joining 1 cardiac surgeon and 8 advanced practice providers (to include nocturnal APP coverage). The practice is on the leading edge of procedures offered to include CABG including beating heart surgery, complex mitral valve repairs and replacements, AVRs & TAVRs, complex thoracic aortic surgery including aortic root surgery, arrhythmia surgery including hybrid A-fib maze procedures (convergent), ECMO, open and VATS lobectomy, mediastinal surgery, carotid endarterectomy, lower and upper extremity bypass surgery, EVARs and open AAA repairs.
