Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health invites you to explore the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery
opportunity in St. Petersburg with a thriving physician-led, professionally managed healthcare

Hillsborough and Pasco County areas. Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center
with surgical critical care/acute care surgery. This position requires an active ATLS.
Role
Requirements:
· Trauma and Acute Care Surgery – MD or DO – Inpatient with Outpatient
follow-up
· Board Certified or Board Eligibility required
· Must possess/ability to
obtain a Florida Medical License
· Call coverage is five, 24-hour call sessions per
month

Work
Experience:
· Work-life balanced schedule.
· Patient census. Expect to see 25+ patients
per day utilizing the efficiency of EPIC, electronic health record system.
· Clinic support
team. Includes one dedicated medical assistant (MA) per provider and a nurse is shared with other
clinics, check in and check out, front office assistant and an APP accompanies the doctor during
clinic.
· Collegiality. Work in a team-oriented environment with like-minded physicians in an
office housing primary care providers and specialists throughout our network.
· Inpatient
Support. Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health has a team of Hospital Medicine physicians to
support inpatient and long-term care patient needs.
