Contract Director of Nursing (RN, BSN Required) — Sistersville, WV (9-Week Local Assignment)

Ref #: C-DON-9052340 We're seeking an experienced nursing leader to join a Sistersville, WV facility on a 9-week contract (non-travel) starting ASAP. This role follows a day shift schedule, 07:00 AM–03:30 PM, and pays $2,636 per 40-hour week. What you’ll bring Current, active Registered Nurse state license BSN or higher Prior nursing leadership experience—preferably as a Director of Nursing BLS certification What you’ll do Lead the nursing team with clear, supportive guidance that builds collaboration and a positive work culture Oversee and coordinate patient care to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery and adherence to established protocols Recruit, orient, and supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs while promoting professional development Maintain regulatory compliance, infection control standards, and patient safety through quality assurance activities Design and deliver educational programs and training to strengthen staff skills and knowledge Manage the nursing department budget responsibly, balancing resource use with quality care Enforce hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across the nursing staff Advocate for patients by addressing concerns and promoting a patient-centered approach Work with quality improvement teams to identify trends and implement care enhancements Keep accurate, timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and departmental operations Contribute to strategic planning and initiatives that improve nursing services Perform other duties as assigned by management If you’re a hands-on leader who values staff development, patient advocacy, and continuous improvement, this assignment offers a focused opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
