Assistant Director RN – Case Management

Large, multi-system 1199 Union hospital in Brooklyn offering competitive pay, tremendous opportunities for growth with an excellent Major Medical, PTO, Vision, dental plans.Seeking an Assistant Director to collaborate with the Director to plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day activities within the Case Management Department. This role involves supervising and monitoring case management activities, conducting staff orientation and training, and developing department policies. The Assistant Director plays a key role in problem-solving, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, and serving as a resource for the team.Brooklyn's unique blend of cultural richness, diversity, and community spirit makes it a dynamic and appealing borough within the bustling metropolis of New York City. Compensation:  $150,000 Per Year Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in direct patient care. Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience in quality assessment or utilization management. Registered Nurse; licensed in New York State required. Case Manager Certification (CCM) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
